Trapa’s take on the Spanish Christmas classic turrón de chocolate crujiente. Smooth milk chocolate with hazelnut is combined with crisp puffed rice, so each bite snaps. Trapa has been making chocolate in Palencia since 1891, and this holiday bar is one of its best-known seasonal items. It is gluten-free and palm-oil-free.

The bar is not a traditional almond turrón. It is a chocolate-bar style turrón that people of all ages like. Serve it on a Christmas dessert board next to Alicante and Jijona turrón. It also works as a gift, a stocking stuffer, or something to put out for guests.
