This may be a lesser known bean, but the Verdina Bean, or Green Bean, has a delicious taste and has a fine and smooth skin that doesn't’ crack when cooked. Due to the limited production, and the labor needed to harvest these beans, they have a higher price point, and therefore valued by many chefs. It’s buttery texture and softness make them an ideal pairing for seafood dishes.

Add these rare verdina beans alongside your favorite fish or vegetable dishes. You can place them in a soup as well, but we love them plated in sauce. To prepare them, make sure to soak them for at least 8-12 hours (ideally overnight) before draining and rinsing them - at this point, they will be ready to add to your recipes.

This is a non-perishable product, so it will last for for quite some time! Keep stored in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight. Once you open the cloth bag and if you have some left, keep the bag sealed tightly and continually stored in a cool and dry place.
