These are flat, white beans that are quite similar to lima beans. They are used in traditional Valencian style paellas - a crucial part of this classic dish. Garnish your paella with them in the latter end of the cooking process. However, they are also great in soups and stews!

Recommended Pairings
Add these garrofón beans to your favorite soups, stews or rice dishes. Traditionally you add them to a Pallea Valenciana - the most authentic garnish. To prepare them, make sure to soak them for at least 8-12 hours (ideally overnight) before draining and rinsing them - at this point, they will be ready to add to your recipes.
This is a non-perishable product, so it will last for for quite some time! Keep stored in a cool and dry place and away from direct sunlight. Once you open the cloth bag and if you have some left, keep the bag sealed tightly and continually stored in a cool and dry place.
