Catalonian-Style Sausage. Butifarra is a mild and soft, juicy sausage that is very typical of the Catalonian region of Spain. Seasoned with black pepper and garlic, it has a white-to-pink interior, and is traditionally served grilled. It's great served on a bed of white beans.

This sausage is ready to be sliced and consumed, but it's also delicious lightly grilled. Add it to a tapas or charcuterie board, or serve on a bed of Spanish beans as is typical within the region of Catalonia.
Store your Spanish charcuterie in the refrigerator. It's best to keep it wrapped tightly in plastic wrap or in airtight containers to prevent them from drying out or absorbing odors from other foods. Charcuterie is also best enjoyed at room temperature, so remember to remove it from the refrigerator about 30 minutes before serving to allow it to come to the desired temperature. This will allow all of its delicious flavors and textures to develop fully!
